Water Withdrawal Screening Process Results

This webpage describes the results of your withdrawal location and whether it has passed the screening process. If you look at the top of the page you will see the Adverse Resource Impact (ARI) Graph.

Adverse Resource Impact (ARI) Graph: The ARI Graph illustrates the estimated amount (GPM) of removal of water from a nearby stream and its potential for causing an adverse resource impact. It describes the impact that your watershed withdrawal location will have on any nearby streams.

Screening Results: In the middle of the page you will see a summary of the results of the screening process. This summary will tell you if the proposed withdrawal has passed and what the likelihood might be for causing an adverse resource impact. The summary also gives you some information and background on Large Quantity Withdrawals (LQW) and what is legally required before you can initiate one.
