Navigating To Your Location of Water Withdrawal On the first page of the WWAT website there are three options available to navigate to the immediate area where you would like to evaluate a water withdrawal: locate by address, and locate by county, and locate by latitude and longitude coordinates. Locate By Address: To navigate to your area of interest by street address and zip code, enter the information then click the "Find Address" button. If the address can be found in the database, a list of one or more prospective matches will display as red hyperlink(s). Click the best candidate and a new window will open and load the WWAT map interface. Once there, use the "New Withdrawal" tool and click directly on the location of interest to begin the water withdrawal assessment process. Locate by County: Use this option to zoom to a selected county. Select your county from the drop down menu list and click the "Find County" button. A new window will open and load the WWAT map interface displaying the selected county. From there use the "Zoom In" tool to further pinpoint the area where you would like to evaluate a withdrawal. Once located, use the "New Withdrawal" tool and click directly on the location of interest to begin the water withdrawal assessment process. Locate by Latitude and Longitude: If you have the Latitude and Longitude coordinates available, this option would be the best choice. First choose the coordinate format you would like to use- Decimal Degrees or Degrees Minutes Seconds, then enter the coordinates and click on the "Find Point" button. A new window will open up and load the WWAT map interface. Now use the "New Withdrawal" tool and click directly on the location of interest to begin the water withdrawal assessment process.
